BANDIERA NAZIONALE DELLO SRI LANKA


The flag of Sri Lanka, also called the Lion Flag, consists of a golden lion, holding a swordin his right front leg, in front of a crimson background with four golden bo leaves in each corner. Around the background is a yellow border, and on his left are two vertical stripesof equal size in saffron and green, with the saffron stripe closest to the lion. The lionrepresents courage, and the four leaves represent meththa Bo, karuna, and MudithaUppekha. The orange stripe represents the Tamils of Sri Lanka, the green striperepresents Sri Lanka Moors, and the background is crimson and the Europea bourgeoisie is also a reference to the country's rich colonial background and yellow border represents other ethnic groups such as Sri Lanka Malay etc .
